I gotta start painting again, im so slack!!! I've come to a small realisation that i may need to focus on one aspect of art and stick to it. By this i mean find what im best at drawing/painting and hone my skills on that, instead of trying to paint everything and anything i can. This scares me a little cos i would like to have a huge range of stuff that i can paint, but at this point i gotta be a little more realistic.
That said im gonna start painting and sketching as much as i can from now on.. well maybe after my impending wedding (which is in 4 days), i will start. Im also studying anatomy more now, which i will be posting up as much as i can on here.
we'll see how i go.........

I think you're overthinking the situation. If you paint all the time you should be able to paint just about whatever you want. If you do nothing for three weeks and then paint a figure in one week, that's three weeks wasted where you could have done a stellarfield, a robot and a picture of a cat.
But I feel your pain, we're all lazy.
